HANDSTANDS

At TKM we train everyone’s favourite party trick, not just because it looks impressive, but because a strong handstand is a real test of body control. It requires strength, mobility, technique, and consistency.

In this class you’ll build the foundations properly with shoulder mobility, wrist preparation, alignment drills, and focused technique work. As you progress, we’ll coach you to find balance, hold strong shapes, and develop the control that makes a handstand feel solid and confident.

LIFT HEAVY TINGS

At TKM our goal is simple. Build a body that is strong, mobile, skillful, and fit. Strength matters, and the best way to build it is to lift heavy things relative to you. We train a wide range of movement patterns using barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells and band work to develop real-world power and resilience.

Getting stronger doesn’t just make you better in the gym. It improves athletic performance, builds muscle, supports joint health, increases bone density, and boosts your metabolism. This is training that carries over into everything else you do.

CALISTHENICS / RING WORK

Become a master of your body. At TKM we put a huge focus on calisthenics and gymnastics ring work because it builds a level of strength, control, and athleticism that carries over into everything. It’s also seriously fun.

Bodyweight training is a different kind of strength. It challenges you through new positions, demands control, and builds real skill. We coach members from their first push ups and ring rows all the way to muscle ups, handstand push ups, and beyond, with clear progressions so there is always a path forward.

Build strength that doesn’t need equipment

MOBILITY TRAINING

At TKM we train mobility so your body stays long, strong, and capable. The goal is simple. Move well, move freely, and stay pain free while you do it. Strength training is powerful, but without mobility work it can leave you tight, restricted, and stuck in the same patterns.

Mobility gives you access to range. It keeps your joints healthy, your movement clean, and your body resilient for the long run. We use a mix of targeted stretching to open up specific areas, then we integrate that new range back into full body functional movement.

This is the stuff you’ll thank yourself for later.

STRONG MAN TRAINING

Strongman training is one of the most underrated ways to build real strength. It’s raw, functional, and it carries over directly into everyday life. Farmer’s walks feel a lot like carrying groceries. Sandbags and medicine balls feel a lot like picking up a child, moving furniture, or handling anything awkward and heavy.

The best part is it’s scalable. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re ready to push serious weight, we can adjust the load, the distance, and the movement so it’s challenging, safe, and effective for you.

This is strength you can actually use.

COORDINATION​

Balance, agility, reaction time, and spatial awareness matter more than people realise. They keep you athletic, sharp, and capable in everyday life, not just in the gym.

At TKM we train coordination through partner drills and reactive tasks that force you to observe, adapt, and move with intent. Randomness is the point. You don’t get to switch your brain off, you have to stay present and respond in real time.

And let’s be honest, it’s a lot more fun than standing on one leg on a bosu holding a dumbbell.

LOCOMOTION

Locomotion is the art of travelling from point A to point B with control, creativity, and intent. It’s where you begin to build a real movement vocabulary, not just a list of exercises.

We break movements down, isolate the details, and then integrate them into flowing sequences. As you improve, you’ll learn to improvise, explore, and move confidently through different levels, directions, and patterns.

Our locomotion training draws from capoeira, animal movement, and soft acrobatics. It’s challenging, it’s playful, and it builds a body that can actually move.

Train to move, not just to lift.

CONDITIONING

At TKM we train conditioning so your body can actually handle the work. Strength, skill, and mobility are important, but you also need an engine.

We use tools like the air bike, carries, sled-style work, medicine balls, bodyweight circuits, kettlebells, and simple hard-effort intervals to get the heart rate up and build real fitness. The goal isn’t just to make you tired. It’s to improve your capacity, recovery, and ability to keep moving under fatigue.

Good conditioning supports everything else you do. It improves cardiovascular health, helps regulate energy levels, builds mental resilience, and gives you the ability to train harder, recover faster, and perform better across the week.
